State Certified Control Tactics; Weapon Retention; Handcuffing and
Use of Force Instructor. Also, Martial Arts Instructor.
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course will provide Law Enforcement and Correctional Officer to gain knowledge in subject management during an unknown risk and/or high risk stops.
The Officer will be trained in the following:
Use of Force Module
Suspect Management
7 Planning Principals
Take-downs
Pressure Points
Wrist Lock/Joint Manipulations
Handcuffing/Handcuffing at prone position
Driver and Passenger Removal
Prisoner Transport
High Risk Subject Management
Unknown Risk Subject Management
This is a physical and hands-on class. Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes.
Bring duty belts, handcuffs and handcuff keys. No firearms or ammo allowed.
